Four Arrested In Prostitution Sweep In Ventura County

Posted on Friday, February 26, 2016 2:15pm

Detectives say they arrested four women in Ventura County who were using the internet to solicit customers for prostitution.

Investigators from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office say they were trying to identify potential local cases of human trafficking.

They made contact with the women and obtained search warrants before making arrests at some local motels.

Detectives say none of the cases appear to be connected, and that the women were working independently in the Camarillo, and Thousand Oaks areas.
