Debate Continues Over Controversial Expansion Of Central Coast Oil Refinery To Allow Oil Train Shipments

The emotional debate continues over an oil company’s proposal to ship oil to a Central Coast oil refinery by train.

Supporters say it’s a well planned project, but opponents contend there are major safety and environmental concerns.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports it will be at least another two weeks still before there’s a decision on the controversial Phillips 66 proposal for its Nipomo refinery.
