Authorities took a bomb threat at a Central Coast school seriously enough that it was evacuated today.
Someone called Templeton High School just before noon, making a threat against the school.
Officials decided to take the precaution of evacuating the campus. Students were released to their parents beginning at around 1:30 p.m.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department swept the school grounds with the help of a bomb sniffing K-9. The campus was declared clear at around 4 p.m., with nothing suspicious found.
The investigation into who made the threat is continuing.
