Last year’s oil pipeline rupture in Santa Barbara County led to a cleanup effort which lasted for months, and cost more than $100 million dollars.
Now, work is underway on assessment of the environmental damage to come up with potential restoration projects.
Tonight, researchers involved in the effort will hold a forum in Santa Barbara to talk about the process which is underway.
