A storm hitting the Central and South Coasts today could be the biggest in a series of storms passing through the region this week. It could drop one to two inches of rain on the coast and in valleys, and potentially double that in local mountains.
The biggest concern is in areas hit by brush fires where hillsides have been stripped bare, and could lead to flash floods or mudslides.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports some areas of Ventura County are considered to be at especially high risk for problems.
