It’s a basic driving rule.  If a public safety vehicle with lights and sirens on comes up behind you on a street, you pull to the right and stop.

But, public safety officials on the South Coast say drivers are increasingly ignoring the law.

KCLU’S Lance Orozco rode along with a Ventura County Fire Department engine crew to see firsthand.
