Ventura County Woman Produces New Documentary About Internment Of Japanese-Americans During World War II

It’s a shameful, yet increasingly forgotten part of U.S. history.

In the months following the attack on Pearl Harbor, some officials used  hysteria to force more than 100,000 people of Japanese ancestry out of their West Coast homes into internment camps.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks to a Ventura County woman who’s produced a new documentary on efforts to get the government to apologize for its unconstitutional actions.
