More Than 600 California Lutheran University Students Take Part In Ventura Habitat Restoration Project

Today is the first day of school for hundreds of freshmen students at a South Coast university.

Their preparations include things like you might expect, like moving into residence halls, and buying books.  But yesterday, the entire class of more than 600 students did something unusual, spending part of their day removing invasive plants from a local riverbed.
