Today marks the 60th anniversary of the place known as “The Happiest Place On Earth,” the world’s most famous theme park, which has hosted an estimated 650 million visitors.
It was July 17th, 1955, when Disneyland opened its gates to its very first time. Among those on hand for the now historic day was a Central Coast man who not only worked for Disney, he helped create rides, and artwork for the new park.
