There may be rain in the forecast for the Central and South Coasts this week, but high brush fire season is also at hand.

Firefighters say if you live in a potentially at-risk area, it’s time get your property, and your family ready for the threat.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco says public safety agencies in Ventura County focused a spotlight on the preparedness issue.
