This next story sounds too crazy to be true, but it’s real.

An archaeological team has recovered the pieces of a massive, five ton Egyptian Sphinx from some sand dunes in northern Santa Barbara County.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco explains the sphinx is a true historic relic, but not in the way it sounds at first.
