Food Banks In Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties Receive Produce Donations As Part Of Effort To Call Attention To Drought’s Impacts On Agriculture

A effort to raise awareness about the impacts of the drought on California agriculture used some of the state’s food banks as a backdrop.

The drought’s growing impacts on the agricultural industry has not only hurt it, they’ve cut into produce donations to the non-profits.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports as a part of the awareness campaign, farmers donated thousands of pounds of produce to food banks in Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties.
