A Central Coast Film festival is kicking off the celebration of its 21st anniversary next year early, with a series of special screenings this fall.
The San Luis Obispo Film Festival is showing three coming of age films in a special series.
On September 20th, the festival will screen the cult film “The Goonies.”
Actor Josh Brolin, who starred in the film, and lived in Templeton for years, will be on hand.
On October 25th, the festival will show “Breaking Away,” with one of its stars, Dennis Christopher, attending.
Then on November 22nd, the special series will rap up with the silent film “Daddy Long Legs” accompanied by a live orchestra.
The screenings are fundraisers for the 2015 SLO Film Festival, which is set for March 10th-15th of next year.
