Murder Victim On Central Coast Now Being Identified

A murder victim whose body was found off of a street in an agricultural area of northern Santa Barbara County is now being identified.

The body of Javier Alcantar Limon of Santa Maria was spotted by some farm workers just before seven a.m. yesterday, near the 6900 block of Main Street.  The area is west of Guadalupe, and near the entrance to Guadalupe Beach.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives say they don’t have any suspects at this point, and are looking for potential witness who may have noticed something suspicious in the area.  They aren’t releasing any of the details about the death of the 37 year old man.
