An alert is being issued to residents of an area in eastern Ventura County, following a string of burglaries, and attempted burglaries.
Simi Valley Police say there have been three incidents since the first of the month in the Indian Hills neighborhood, east of Stearns Street. In some of the cases, the burglars entered homes through unopened rear doors, and in one case, the residents were at home at the time.
No one was hurt, but the men escaped in a waiting car. Police are asking for help in watching for suspicious activity in the area, and are urging people to make sure their doors, and windows are secure.
