This is the first weekend of the Ventura County Fair, and there’s some big entertainment in the lineup.
County music’s Little Big Town will be the headliners tonight, and the Spinners will take the stage tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, Santa Barbara’s Old Spanish Days is gearing up for its biggest single event today. Lots of people will be leaving work early, or are taking the day off, because the Fiesta Historical Parade begins at noon at West Beach, and heads up State Street through downtown Santa Barbara. It’s one of the largest equestrian parades in the nation.
More than 100,000 people are expected to be on hand for the parade. Old Spanish Days runs through Sunday.
