A Ventura County man responsible for a one man crime spree which left one person dead won’t go to trial, because he’s entered guilty pleas to a number of charges.
Prosecutors say last December 13th, Alberto Govea stabbed Juan Carlos Garcia at the victim’s Oxnard home.
Police say Govea also stole a car, and threatened another man before he was arrested.
The 21 year old Oxnard man entered guilty pleas to second degree murder, making a criminal threat, and auto theft charges.
It’s expected he’ll get an 18 years to life sentence when he’s formally sentenced next month,
