Detectives Say They Break Up Major Heroin Dealing Operation In Ventura County

Posted on Friday, June 13, 2014 1:22pm

Three Oxnard men have been arrested, after Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, and Santa Paula Police detectives say they broke up a major drug dealing operation.

Investigators say that in April, they identified a heroin operation in the western part of the county known as “The Boys.”   The detectives say the ring was responsible for street level sales in Oxnard, Ventura, and Santa Paula.

This week, the team delivered search warrants at three Oxnard locations, and arrested Roberto Zaragoza, Victor Castillo, and Jonathan Cruz-Diaz, and seized more than three pounds of heroin, and $21,000 in cash.
