Center In Ventura County Helping High School Students, Adults Find Career Paths

With the job market still tight on the South Coast, a program that’s been around for more than four decades is helping teenagers, and adults the training, and academic background they need to find employment.

The Ventura County Office of Education’s Career Education Center offers free classes for high school students, and courses for adults for a fee.

KCLU’S Lance Orozco reports changes in state funding are forcing the program to evolve, but that it’s still going strong in the county.
