Santa Barbara County Voters To Decide Fate Of Measure M, Which Tries To Address $350 Million Dollar County Maintenance Backlog

Tight budgets have hit government agencies in many ways, including cutbacks on maintenance of the roads, parks, and other facilities we use every day.

In Santa Barbara County, there is a $350 million dollar maintenance backlog, which is growing daily.  On June 3rd, the county’s voters will decide the fate of a controversial proposal which tries to address the issue.
