Former Central Coast District Attorney Who Became Judge Dies

A former district attorney, and judge on the Central Coast has died.

Christopher Money was a San Luis Obispo County prosecutor for two decades, eventually become District Attorney.

In 1984, he was appointed by the governor as a municipal court judge, and five years later, he became a Superior Court judge.

Money retired in 2005.

He had been battling cancer.

Money was 79 years old.
