An Agoura Hills man has been sentenced to 14 months in prison for his involvement in an insider trading scheme, in which he exchanged information for cash, and luxury items.
Scott London was a senior partner at the prestigious accounting firm of KPMG.
The 51 year old man entered a guilty plea last year to one count of securities fraud through insider trading, and admitted leaking key confidential information on more than a dozen occasions.
Prosecutors say London fed the information to a friend, Bryan Shaw, who made more than $1.2 million dollars through the scheme.
Shaw pled guilty to a conspiracy charge, and will be sentenced next month.
