Latest Version Of Unite To Light Solar Lamps Being Shipped To People Without Electricity Around The World

A Santa Barbara County based non-profit group is literally helping to light up the lives of people around the world.

It’s a story KCLU first told you about three years ago.  Some engineers, and community members teamed up to design, and ship solar lamps to students struggling to study in homes without electricity.

KCLU’S Lance Orozco gives us an update, reporting “Unite To Light” has now sent nearly 60,000 of its lamps around the globe.
