Car Involved In Oxnard Kidnapping Recovered; Three Arrested

Posted on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 12:22am

A car involved with an Oxnard kidnapping has been recovered, and three people were arrested.

The car was stolen just before 6 a.m. yesterday morning, on the 3800 block of Saviers Road in Oxnard.  A woman stopped her car on the street to pick up a co-worker.  The woman left the car running, and her four year old daughter in the vehicle as she went to a nearby apartment.

She heard tires squealing, and ran back to the street.  Her car was gone, but she found her daughter about 450 feet up the street.  The little girl was unhurt, but the car was gone.

Oxnard Police spotted the stolen vehicle at about 8 last night, near Channel Islands Boulevard, and Rose Avenue.  After a short chase, the car stopped and two adults and a juvenile were arrested.
