A Central Coast couple is facing child endangerment charges, after their four year old daughter was found wandering around the parking structure of a casino in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies say Petra Zaragoza and Bulmaro Reyes of Santa Maria stopped at the Chumash Casino around noon Tuesday to gamble, and left their daughter in their car. About a half hour later, someone saw the little girl get out of the car, looking for her parents. The passerby took the child to the casino’s security desk.
Deputies were called to the scene, leading to the couple’s arrest.
