Man Gets Year Jail Sentence For Fatal Traffic Collision On Central Coast

A Northern California man has been sentenced to a year in jail for causing a traffic collision which killed a man on the Central Coast.

Eric Wellington of Marysville entered a no contest plea to a vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated charge.

Prosecutors say the 33 year old man was driving on Highway 46 near Shandon when he made an unsafe turn, and hit a car.  The September, 2012 crash killed Cirigo Arais of King City.
