Pulitzer Prize Winning Author To Speak On South Coast About New Book Looking At Obesity

America is getting fat.  A third of all Americans are overweight.

For instance, we consume an average of seventy pounds of sugar per person a year, and double the recommended amount of salt.

Now, in the new book “Salt Sugar Fat,” Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Michael Moss looks at how the processed food industry helped us get to this modern day health crisis.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco talks with Moss, who is headed to the South Coast for a free lecture this week.
