Central Coast School District Superintendent Announces Retirement Plans

Posted on Thursday, February 13, 2014 11:17am

The superintendent of a Central Coast school district has announced his retirement.

Bob Bush will step down as head of the Orcutt School District, after more than four decades with the district, and four years at the helm.

He’ll leave at the end of the school year, but wanted to notify district trustees early so they will have ample time to find a replacement.

Bush grew up in Orcutt, and after getting his college education, returned to the community to serve as a teacher, coach, administrator, and finally as district superintendent.
