Central Coast Hit By String Of Small Earthquakes

A string of small earthquakes rocked the Central Coast.

A magnitude 4.1 quake hit San Luis Obispo County at 11:42 yesterday morning.  The quake was centered around 15 miles southwest of San Simeon.  Then, five minutes later, a magnitude 2.8 quake happened  in the same general area off the coast.

At 7:42 last night, there was a third quake centered about 17 miles southwest of San Simeon. It was a magnitude 4.1 temblor.

No one was hurt, and no damage was reported.
