Two small earthquakes jarred parts of the South Coast this morning.
They were both centered in the Pacific Ocean.
The first quake was a magnitude 2.3 temblor, which occurred at 12:58 a.m. about four miles west of Isla Vista.
A second one, a magnitude 2.9 quake, happened at 6:22 a.m., off of Carpinteria.
It was about 11 miles southwest of the city.
No damage, or injuries were reported from either quake.
