A Red Flag warning is expected to go into effect at midnight for the mountains, and interior valleys of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties, because of gusty wind, and low humidity.
The National Weather service says we could see wind from 15 to 30 miles an hour, with gusts to 40 miles an hour. The strongest wind is expected Friday morning.
The increased fire danger is being created by an upper level low pressure system moving into Northern California. The Red Flag warning period is expected to last into Friday evening, and ease as we move into the weekend.
