Writer Of First Feature Film Produced In Saudi Arabia Talks About Project During Ventura County Visit

What’s it like growing up in a country where women are educated separately, are not allowed to drive, and can’t hold many kinds of job?

A Saudi Arabian woman decided to tell that story, in what’s being called the first ever feature film made in her homeland.  It’s received international acclaim at a number of film festivals.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco caught up with the writer and director, who was visiting Ventura County this week.
