A San Diego based real estate management company has taken over control of five financially troubled hotels in California, including two in Ventura County.
A Monterey County Superior Court judge appointed Trigild as receiver of the hotels. The hotels include the 120 room Courtyard Marriott in Thousand Oaks, and the 93 room TownPlace Suites, in Thousand Oaks. Trigild is charged with running the day to day operations of the hotel while legal action is pending. Company officials say they will work with local managers to minimize any disruption to guests, or staff.
