Ventura Bail Bond Company Owner, Agent Arrested

Posted on Monday, December 23, 2013 2:40pm

The owner of a Ventura County bail bond company, and one of his bail agents had to raise bail for themselves, after they were arrested on charges that some of the bail bond work was occurring without a license.

Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives say they investigated several complaints that Ventura based Biker Bail Bonds was using some questionable business practices.

They served several search warrants as part of a six month long investigation, and say they found evidence of stolen bail bonds, and numerous instances of bonds being issued by one of the agents without proper licensing.  Detectives say they arrested Brian Gooch of Santa Barbara, and Tracy Ward of Ventura for conducting transactions without a license.
