Summit In Ventura County Looks At Why Preschool Makes Good Economic , As Well As Social Sense

Research shows kids who go to quality preschools do better in school, and better in life.

But, there simply isn’t enough funding in California for preschool for all.  In Ventura County, more than 1500 preschool spots have been created in recent years…but another 3000 are needed.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports this morning from Ventura, where it wasn’t educators, but community leaders who were asked to take part in a summit on the problem.
