Central Coast Man Sentenced To Four Years In Prison For Possession Of Child Pornography

Posted on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 8:09am

A Central Coast man has been sentenced to four years in state prison in a child pornography case.

Santa Barbara County prosecutors say they reached a plea deal with Gregory Allen Loya of Santa Maria.  They say the 32 year old man had numerous videos of children being sexually assaulted on his computer.  He was charged with possession, and distribution of the videos, but prosecutors say he didn’t participate in the abuse, or know anyone who did.

Loya was found, and prosecuted through the work of a Southern California task force which focuses on crimes against children found on the internet.
