Social Justice Fund Announces $40,000 In Grants In Ventura County

A social justice organization in Ventura County has announced $40,000 in grants to fund a number of community programs, most of them youth oriented.

The Social Justice Fund For Ventura County is giving money to five groups, to help pay for efforts like advocating for healthier food for Santa Paula School District students, creation of an affordable housing alliance in Ventura, and to improve anti-bullying efforts in the immigrant youth community.

Among the organizations being funded are the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation, CAUSE, and One Step A La Vez.
