While many retirees are taking it easy, one Ventura County couple has decided to take on a huge task: to try to educate people about America’s huge child abuse problem.
They’ve created what they call the “Wall of Tears,” a portable wall containing video monitors displaying the pictures of many of the 2500 children who die annually from child abuse, and neglect.
The wall made its local debut yesterday, at a domestic and sexual abuse awareness event sponsored by the Psychology Club at Ventura College.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
