CHP Says Driver Who Lost Control Of Vehicle In Lompoc, Hitting Trees And Parked Cars Had Stroke

The CHP says driver of a car which hit a mail box, two trees, and two parked cars on the Central Coast apparently had a stroke before the crash.

George Yoshitake was traveling northbound on Constellation Road near Aldebaran Avenue in Lompoc, when he lost control of his car, and crashed just before six last night.

The 84 year old Lompoc man was flown by helicopter to a Santa Barbara hospital, but died from complications from the stroke.
