Woman Killed In Crash Of Stolen Car On Central Coast; Driver Still Being Sought

Authorities are seeking the driver of a stolen car on the Central Coast who apparently crashed the vehicle, killing a passenger, and then fled by carjacking another vehicle.

It happened just after 2 p.m. yesterday, on the 700 block of Blosser Road in Santa Maria.

Santa Maria Police say the car drifted off the road, and hit a light pole.

24 year old Tiffany Ramos was thrown from the car, killing her.

The driver then carjacked another vehicle at the scene, but later released the two people a kidnapped at gunpoint unhurt.

The man fled on foot, and is still being sought.
