Improving access to scholarships, finding room for more students, and stabilizing tuition costs are among the ideas presented at a state Assembly hearing on the South Coast.
The Assembly Committee on Higher Education heard from students, administrators, and educational consultants during yesterday’s hearing at UC Santa Barbara.
The focus of the hearing was affordability as a barrier to access, and success at the state’s public colleges, and universities.
