Public Safety, Non-Profit Leaders Meet To Look At How To Help Offenders Successfully Reenter Society In Ventura County

Posted on Friday, September 27, 2013 7:33am

As part of an effort to ease California’s prison overcrowding, some inmates who would have previously gone to state prison are going to county jails, and other inmates who served their time behind bars are getting probation, instead of parole supervision.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports from Oxnard this morning.
