Santa Barbara County firefighters are mopping up a brush fire southeast of Santa Maria, near Sisquoc.
The 20 acre fire was reported off of Tepusquet Road at around 1:30 yesterday afternoon. At its peak, some 200 firefighters were fighting the fire. The blaze is now 95% contained.
Firefighters were able to get the upper hand on the fire before sunset yesterday, although there were two minor flareups overnight.
No structure damage was reported, and no evacuations were ordered. One firefighter was injured, when his leg was burned by the blaze. Fire investigators say exhaust from a tractor started the fire.
