Santa Barbara County firefighters are getting the upper hand on a 15 to 20 acre brush fire in a rural area of the county, near Sisquoc.
The fire was first reported off of Tepusquet Road at around 1:30 this afternoon.
The County Fire Department’s David Sadecki says the fire caused some damage to a vineyard.
At its peak, some 200 firefighters were fighting the fire.
Air tankers were used during the early stages of the blaze, but they were later released.
No structure damage has been reported, and no evacuations were ordered.
The cause is under investigation.
