A woman authorities think is a suspect in a string of Central Coast bank robberies is now being identified.

Christina Padilla of Watsonville was arrested following a bank robbery attempt in San Luis Obispo County last Friday.

Padilla was taken into custody following the failed robbery in San Luis Obispo, and a car chase which ended peacefully when she pulled over, and surrendered in Paso Robles.

The 50 year old woman is a suspect in five robberies in San Luis Obispo County, as well as two others in other parts of the state.

The FBI had dubbed the robber the Central Coast Bandit.
