Santa Barbara County Supervisor Asking Voters To Force County To Deal With Underfunded Road, Infrastructure Maintenance

It’s a problem facing cities, and counties around the state.  With budget tights for the last few years, many of them have been deferring maintenance on key infrastructure, especially roads.

In Santa Barbara County, the estimated price tag just to bring the county’s infrastructure up to snuff is estimated to be more than $300 million dollars, and growing daily.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports one Santa Barbara County supervisor is so upset with his fellow supervisors direction on this issue, he’s asking voters to intervene:  Santa Barbara County Infrastructure Funding
