A man sought for the stabbing of two people in Santa Barbara County has been arrested, after he literally returned to the scene of the crime.
Gabriel Nicholas Rivera was arrested at about 1:30 p.m. Friday, after Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies received a tip that he had returned to the 1500 block of Highway 154 to pick up some personal items.
Sheriff’s deputies, supported by a helicopter surrounded the area, and ordered the 47 year old man to come out of a home at the scene. Rivera surrendered without incident.
He was wanted after an argument on the property Wednesday led to the stabbing of two men. Both men are recovering from their injuries.
