Firefighters Try to Determine Cause Of Brush Fire In Northern Santa Barbara County

Firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a brush fire in the Cebada Canyon area, in northern Santa Barbara County

The fire broke out at around 2:45 pm. yesterday, in a brushy area about six miles northeast of Lompoc.

It’s just north of Highway 246.

The fire burned about 10 acres.

The fire was initially reported to be threatening some homes, but firefighters were able to protect them.

No one was hurt, and no structures were reported damaged.
