Two people arrested in connection with an Arizona murder investigation are also being charged with the takeover robbery of a Ventura County cell phone store.

On July 12th, a man and a woman entered a cell phone store on the 300 block of Arneill Road in Camarillo, and at knife point bound a female employee who was the only person in the store.

They stole a number of phones, and fled in the employee’s car.

On July 27th,Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies detained Pedro Hernandez, of Casa Grande, Arizona, and Yadira Garcia-Hernandez of Camarillo for the robbery.

As they investigated the duo, they found they were wanted in Arizona on felony warrants, and for questioning in a murder.

Detectives say surveillance camera video linked the pair to the Camarillo robbery, prompting armed robbery, conspiracy, false imprisonment, and auto theft charges.
