Eastern Ventura County residents will soon no longer have to go to Ventura to get a marriage license, get a copy of a birth, or death certificate, or record property documents.
County Clerk/Recorder Mark Lunn says they are opening a new satellite office in Thousand Oaks. The new office will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursday, in the City Clerk’s Office at Thousand Oaks City Hall.
The pilot program will begin August 22nd. County officials say by partnering with the City of Thousand Oaks to use some of its office space, there isn’t a need for additional funding.
